On May 23th, the fourth Matrix User Group Client Event has taken place for our clients in the beautiful scenery of Zadelhoff Koetshuis. More than 25 banking experts from several banks such as Knab, Argenta, Van Lanschot, LeasePlan and Garanti came together to hear all about the latest developments of Matrix.
The inspiring program included PSD2, Robo Advisory solutions, Next Generation Digital Banking Platforms, the (realized) road map 2017 of Matrix, Developments in Delivery Services and the upcoming features.
One of the main topics in the payments Industry is PSD2. Bas van Marissing (Director Solutions) spoke about PSD2, how it is affecting the financial industry and why Matrix digital banking platform can enable them to seize the opportunities that comes with it.
In our previous Matrix User Group session, our clients answered a questionnaire. One of the questions was; What can Five Degrees improve in Matrix?". Fridrik Reynisson, Director of Development, gave a presentation about the road map and the items that were realized this year such as cutting edge dashboards and search history and more control of the products with a state of art overview.
Fridrik also presented a demo of the features in Matrix. The planned development of a new REST API received the most attention. In particular, attendees were happy with the use of Swagger as the documentation tool of choice for the new feature.
Robo-advice has received a lot of attention in the financial services sector this year. Santosh Radhakrishnan, Sales Director, presented the new Robo Advisor in 3 Months solution. The clients were impressed by the short implementation of such a powerful propositon based on Matrix.
One of the eye-catcher was the presentation of Halldor Magnusson about the App-Store that is coming soon.
